ash wednesday reflection


Ah, dear Jesus!  I feel the ashes of mortality upon my heart.  Give me, please, the courage to acknowledge them; then give me the faithful sight to see them on your forehead; for you have died the death in my stead, my Redeemer and my Lord!  Amen.

Giving up:  time spent with no purpose (or no good purpose, anyway)

Committing to:  time in the Word and workout time: daily

So it’s out there…hold me accountable.

Shakin’ up Mondays recipe of the day

strawberry cheesecake pie

  • 1 cup Wild Berry flavor Herbalife Formula 1 Healthy Meal
  • 4 tablespoons Herbalife Protein Drink Mix
  • 2 cups water
  • 4 ounces fat-free or lowfat cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 small package Cheesecake sugar-free, fat-free pudding mix
  • 1 graham cracker crust

mix first 3 ingredients.   add cream cheese and continue mixing until smooth.   add pudding and mix until well blended.   pour into graham cracker crust and chill for 1 hour.   cut pie into 8 pieces.   top with spoonful of light whipped topping, if desired.

1 slice = 1 shake
